Explore the sandy beach habitat and its interaction with Rodeo Lagoon. Learn about the beach/estuarine ecosystem, including the plants and animals found washed ashore by the waves. Students participate in a beach clean up and discussion about trash/pollution and its effects on ocean life. (Beach walks do not automatically include a visit to the hospital. Please schedule that separately.) Best season: March-November
