Week-long programs, led by environmental science specialists, integrate viewing the zoo's animal collection with crafts, games, songs, and discussion to teach kids about wildlife and wild places.
At Zoo Camp, children have a great opportunity to spend a whole week at the Zoo learning about the animals, their habitats and how we care for them. Craft projects and games reinforce the concepts we teach. Keeper talks, observation walks and lots of hands-on activities will keep kids enthralled.
SPRING CAMP
This week-long day camp is for children in 1st and 2nd grades. Similar in format to our summer camp program, Spring Camp combines Zoo discovery tours with animal themed crafts, games and up-close animal encounters to teach about wildlife and wild places. Choose from one of two one-week sessions. Please call 415-753-7068 for more information.
