The science of fire is introduced with live demonstrations that illustrate the concept of combustion, how people first learned about fire, the fire triangle, controlling fire, what makes an efficient fuel, and fire prevention, and safety. This program is so hot it sets students' scientific curiosity ablaze. Sessions are adapted to audience's grade level(s). For an additional $85, 25-minute sessions for grades K-1 may be added to programs at you school. Development of this program was made possible by the people at Chevron USA.

LHS programs are the types of programs advocated in the National Science Education Standards, the Curriculum Standards for School Mathematics, the Science Framework for California Public Schools, the Mathematics Framework for California Public Schools, and the Benchmarks for Science Literacy.
