Learn about colorful tide pool habitat and how intertidal animals survive in this harsh environment. Observe and touch such fascinating creatures as hermit crabs, sea stars, turban snails, mussels.
Coyote Point Museum for Environmental Education offers exciting educational experiences that enhance curricula from pre-school to 8th grade. Additional programming can be developed upon request for older grade levels. Offerings include on-site docent tours, classes, special exhibits, excursions into country foothills and tide pool areas and programs at your site. Live animals, hands-on activities, and innovative classes excite and inspire students about Bay Area ecology and the interdependence of people and nature.
