A new high school activity guide Our Wetlands, Our World is now available from the California Coastal Commission. This new guide addresses subjects such as the natural history of wetland habitats, water quality and pollution, and wetlands stewardship. While site-specific to the Upper Newport Bay in Orange County, the activities are easily adapted to your local wetlands. The activities are aligned to California State Content Standards. Our Wetlands, Our World is free and available either as a download from www.coastforyou.org (then click on the "Coastal Restoration" link on the left hand side) or by contacting Project Coordinator Matt Yurko at 949-640-0286 or myurko@coastal.ca.gov.
