How human will our brains be at the end of the 21st Century? Dr. Greenfield uses recent research to present the idea of a future world free of pain and disease, where we can manipulate our bodies with machinery, our moods with 'smart drugs', and our innate nature with gene therapy. In this world, technology will transform what we eat, our relationships, jobs, even the way we fight wars. Greenfield is Oxford Professor, author, pioneering scientist, entrepreneur, policy adviser, and first female Head of the Royal Institute. She appears frequently on radio and television in Great Britain.
