The IISME Summer Fellowship Program provides high quality, paid professional development opportunities for educators and exposes them to a scientific research environment or the many industry applications of math, science and technology. Teachers work for eight weeks side-by-side with professionals in top Bay Area companies or universities and receive paid time to develop curriculum. Teachers learn new skills, become familiar with state-of-the-art technologies, and earn $8,200 in one summer. Teachers then return to their classrooms with new resources, teaching strategies, networks, and renewed energy.
