Cal Alive!: Exploring Biodiversity is a science education project that incorporates interactive multimedia, a classroom guide, a two-volume teacher resource guide, and professional development for teachers. Exciting computer simulations and in-depth activities motivate students to look beyond the classroom to discover how the earth and its organisms function and interact.

Interactive computer technology and key science concepts are combined in an entirely new approach to teaching middle school science and natural history. Designed for California students and their teachers, Cal Alive! supports many California State Science Standards.
