Participate in one of the Sanctuary’s exciting, research-based monitoring programs for students! The Sandy Beach – and the Rocky Intertidal Monitoring Projects aim to get students excited by, and connected to, real world scientific questions, tools, and techniques.

Teachers and educators are provided with a Monitoring Handbook, equipment, an in-class introduction to the project, and a training session at the monitoring site to ensure that teacher(s) and students are familiar with the protocols. Participants are also given online access to the monitoring database for data entry and analysis.
