As Dr. Ernst Mayr remarked, " The most important thing we can teach our young people is to observe well." Use the medium of sketching in your classroom to teach observational skills and to instill an appreciation of the natural world. During classes, teachers will practice basic field sketching exercises that can be adapted for the classroom. Participants in multiple sessions will be expected to keep a nature journal. Educators may sign up for one, two, or three sessions. Suitable for beginning sketchers. Supply list sent with confirmation.
