San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge would like to visit your classroom! "Mud Creatures and the Watershed Connection" is the Refuge's one-hour hands-on outreach program for 3rd grade students. This program consists of a variety of activities where students will examine marsh mud and the creatures which live in it. Students will also learn about the various habitats found in the North Bay and ways in which they can protect these habitats and the wildlife that lives in them. Students will be introduced to watersheds and how their everyday actions can have a tremendous affect on our water systems. "Mud Creatures and the Watershed Connection" teaches students that our actions as humans are connected to the health and livelihood of all creatures in the Bay area.
