The Randall Museum offers youth and adults opportunities for active involvement and recreation in an integrated program of arts and sciences. Focusing on the cultures and environment of the San Francisco Bay Area, the museum strives to inspire creativity, curiosity, and an appreciation of the world around us.
The Randall Museum offers a unique haven where children and adults can explore the creative aspects of art and science and make discoveries about nature and the environment by direct participation in classes, workshops, special events, and clubs. The Randall Museum houses changing science, art and interactive exhibits. Permanent areas of the Museum are a live animal exhibit, woodshop, arts and ceramics studios, theatre, darkroom, lapidary workshop, greenhouse, and gardens.
The Randall is different from other museums and hands-on discovery centers in that it attempts to provide a vehicle for personal experiences rather than a fixed destination. |
