NASA uses its unique resources to support educational excellence for all. NASA's national education program is carried out through NASA Headquarters and the eleven NASA field centers (such as NASA Ames Research Center in northern California).
In addition to direct contact with educators, students and the general public, NASA provides information, materials and services to the larger education community.
