The Friends of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens (GRPG) is a non-profit organization located in San Jose. The mission of the organization is to provide community leadership for the development and active use of the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens through education, advocacy and stewardship. Educational opportunities for adults include tours, workshops and lectures as well as a docent training program. A summer day camp,field trips,after-school and Saturday workshops provide educational opportunities for children. Two major public festivals, Spring in Guadalupe Gardens and Pumpkins in the Park, are produced each year. Additionally,a Water Festival for third grade students is held each year in May.
